5,000,000 and counting!
Earlier today, Philly311 received its 5,000,000th call since its launch in 2008. That means that the service received 5 million calls before its 4th anniversary.
Corey Summer is an agent at Philly311. Today he was named “Mr. Five Million.”
“It’s exciting. We knew were going to hit it today and we kept talking about who it would be. Never in a million years did I think it would be me.”
The five millionth caller requested information regarding the holiday trash schedule.
Corey has been with Philly311 for about a year and three months. He has seen over one million calls.
“Five million calls means progress and it means hard work.” Corey said.
“This is a milestone worth celebrating. It means that residents have used and will continue to use the Philly311 service.” said Philly311 Operations Manager Sheryl Johnson.
“I’m very proud of our team. I’m proud of the service we provide and I’m excited to see our progress by the time we hit six million.” said Rosetta Lue, Chief Customer Service Officer and Director of Philly311.
The Office of the Managing Director and the Philly311 team thank the residents of Philadelphia for using the non-emergency contact center. Here’s to six million….
