Philly311 Named a Finalist in ICMI Global Call Center Awards

The above video was part of Philly311’s comprehensive application to the 2013 ICMI Global Call Center Awards. The application process for this award included a 3-5 minute video, essays, voluminous data and an employee  satisfaction survey. On Sunday, ICMI announced that Philly311 was a finalist as a Small-to-Medium Call Center. As finalists, ICMI has invited a Philly311 team member to their conference in Seattle Washington on May 14, 2013.

Philly311 could not be happier about being named a finalist. The ICMI Global Call Center Awards has been dominated by the private sector since its creation. Philly311 is  the first government call center to be named a finalist in the awards.

Upon hearing the news, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Customer Service Officer Rosetta Carrington Lue said, “The City of Philadelphia has truly raised the bar in government customer service. We have been able to implement private sector best practices in the public sector which says something about our employee’s dedication to serving Philadelphia’s citizens.”
